4 S.T.E.L. Engineering, Inc., founded in 2005 (“STEL” rhymes with “tell”), is committed to providing our clients with the best in structural design and engineering. 4 S.T.E.L. was formed following the passing of Edmund Foerstel. Mr. Foerstel was an accomplished structural engineer with a career that lasted more than 50 years and for whom Dustin Rosepink, S.E., President and CEO of 4 S.T.E.L., had apprenticed following his graduation from the University of Wyoming.  Honing his skills and craft, Dustin led 4 S.T.E.L. to quickly become one of the most sought-after structural engineering firms in California due to his expertise in the burgeoning renewable-energy market. 4 S.T.E.L. provides structural design and engineering for all things renewable, including steel solar canopies, solar ground mounts, solar roof mounts, EV chargers, battery storage systems, etc., with many of these constructed at California schools and colleges. 

However, we wanted to expand our reach, both in new and established construction markets. In March of 2021, this culminated in 4 S.T.E.L.’s acquisition of Bushra Tsai Incorporated (BTI, formerly Ajit Randhava & Assoc.), which had been in business since 1979. 4 S.T.E.L.’s acquisition of BTI allowed us to incorporate their unparalleled knowledge of and experience with projects such as distribution warehouses and fulfillment centers, freezer and cold-storage facilities, food facilities, commercial centers, mid-rise office and medical buildings, parking structures, industrial and manufacturing buildings, and shopping centers. 

Today, our success is not simply based on how many projects we win, but in how many partnerships we create, how many jobs are created and how many lives are improved as a result of the work we do, how many people rely on the safety and stability afforded in a properly engineered design.
